Become an Ambassador with Next Stop Comedy

Get a behind-the-scenes look at live comedy by arriving before doors, helping the room runner get the show ready, and welcoming guests as the room comes to life.

How it works

  1. Enter your email, create a password, and complete your ambassador information together—or sign in if you already have an account.
  2. Tell us where you live and how far you're willing to travel.
  3. There may not be an open shift right away. We'll email you when a show in your area needs help, and it will also appear on your dashboard.
  4. If you haven't been screened yet, you can request a shift, but your request does not hold the slot. We'll schedule a quick intro call before approving you.
  5. Joining the poster crew gives you priority access to being selected as the ambassador for a show. Once screened, poster-crew members can claim invited open slots directly; ambassadors who don't hang posters submit a request for review.
  6. Once confirmed, arrive before doors to meet the room runner, help get the room and check-in ready, and support the door as guests arrive.
  7. Help out at five shows and you'll get Next Stop merch.
  8. If you claim a shift and can't make it, cancel from your dashboard so we can find a replacement.

Want to help hang posters too?

Join the poster crew for a fun excuse to explore coffee shops, bars, campuses, and community boards around town while helping new audiences discover live comedy. This happens separately from your show-night shift, usually a few weeks before a show. We'll arrange a batch of posters; you hang them in great local spots and log each stop from your dashboard. Joining gives you priority access to being selected as the ambassador for nearby shows; once screened, poster-crew members can claim invited open shifts directly.
