Medical Laboratory Scientist, Navy veteran, mom, homeowner, and professional finder-of-things-that-can-go-wrong. After 20+ years of marriage and one hell of a plot twist, I packed up my life, moved from Florida to Connecticut, bought a house, and started over. I spend my days surrounded by bodily fluids, my nights wrangling kids and animals, and my free time enjoying sci-fi, inappropriate humor, and whatever adventure I’ve talked myself into. I believe in science, direct communication, and finding the punchline even when everything has gone spectacularly sideways. My mouth is Navy-issued, my anxiety has its own middle-management department, and I’m still somehow an optimist.
